These 8 steps represent the correct and only method for professionally cleaning a carpet using hot water extraction. Any company skipping steps — going straight to extraction without pre-treatment, or skipping the vacuum stage — is not delivering a professional clean. If your carpets are being dry cleaned, a different process applies; but for deep extraction cleaning, this is the standard. No shortcuts. No exceptions.

Please note: Natural fibre floor coverings such as seagrass, sisal, coir, jute, and silk cannot be wet cleaned — moisture causes severe shrinkage, water rings, and fibre breakdown. We are unable to offer a dry cleaning service for these types of carpet at this time.
